Speaking of contests . . . . . The last Chenga contest is being held this weekend, December 3rd and 4th. It's gonna be sick. If you can't get outta work I'm sure someone you know will go and talk about for a couple of months. We're planning on packing up the van and making the 10 hour trip. Since there's no DVD player in the van (yet) we'll take turns singing Christmas carols to pass the time.
Up here in the Northeast plenty of snow to go round! Turns out our friend Jack Frost is back in town for a few months. Until he leaves, reckon' we'll all have to do all our bike stunts indoors. Since we've got to ride indoors anyway . . . . . how about meeting up to help someone out. That's right . . . . . time to think about someone other than ourselves. For all ya'll who've never had the pleasure of meeting Justin Brace your definitely missing out. Unfortunately, he hurt himself a short while back and has sustained a pretty burly injury. We all know how the equation goes, injury + no insurance = expensive medical bills. So the Brace Jam 2 is a way to help him out. I could ramble on about how rad my Thanksgiving was but I want to savor that vacation for the next couple of weeks before the stresses of life desensitize all my memories. Instead I'll say BOYCOTT SEARS!!! They sold us a fridge with a manufactured defect, instead of replacing it, they wanted me to pay $100 to downgrade for a trade? Doesn't make sense to me either. When it was all said and done we got a $1850 fridge for $630. It pays to pay attention in math class!
